Dance Holidays in Cuba

We have been running our two-week dance holidays in Santiago de Cuba since 1999. The trips provide a heady mix of dance classes; nights out with our Cuban dance partners to live music clubs; cultural excursions and visits and plenty of time to just chill out and soak up the Cuban atmosphere. Our dance teachers are all professional dancers from one of Cuba’s top national dance companies, the Ballet Folklorico Cutumba. A unique feature of our holidays is that everyone has his/her own partner/teacher for every lesson throughout the two weeks.

Cuba Dance Festival del Fuego Holiday

Dates: 30 JUNE -  14 JULY 2010 

Our 11th annual Cuba Dance holiday in July is this year timed to coincide with the 30th Festival del Caribe, featuring international performers from Curacao and the Brazilian state of Pernambuco.  Culminating with the spectacular Fiesta del Fuego where an effigy of the devil is burned on a huge bonfire, this 2 week trip will provide you with firsthand experience of this annual celebration in addition to a heady cocktail of daily Cuban dance classes, accompanied nights out to the places where local people really know how to have a good time, cultural visits with our bilingual guide and homestay accommodation.

*We are ATOL agents and include flights with Cubana Airlines in our Cuba dance holiday packages. We can also arrange for you to travel on Virgin flights from London Gatwick to Havana, with a night in Havana at the start and end of the trip. If Virgin this is your preferred option please contact us for a quote or, if London Gatwick is not a convenient departure point for you or you are travelling from outside of the UK, contact us to discuss for travel advice and to discuss any necessary amendments to the itinerary for your arrival and departure in Cuba.
