Accommodation with our selected homestays gives you the chance to practise your newly-acquired skills and helps you to understand more about the Cuban way of life.

Spanish + Dance/Music/Percussion courses
Whether you are a complete beginner or already know how to dance or play an instrument, these lessons will increase your confidence and leave you feeling really good about yourself! Our tutors are all professionally trained and experienced teachers of Cuban dance, music and percussion at all levels. Their patience, encouragement and sense of fun will soon have you learning with a big smile on your face.
You can combine Spanish and Cuban dance or music or percussion lessons in both Santiago and Havana. Havana dance and percussion lessons are taught in small groups and take place on weekday afternoons, 2 lessons per day. In Santiago lessons are one-to-one (each person has their own professional dance/music/percussion teacher) and may take place in the morning or afternoon.

Tailormade Dance/Music/Percussion courses
Whether you are a professional musician wanting to improve your appreciation of Cuban rhythms, a dancer with years of experience or you just want to try your hand at learning to play the congas or to dance salsa, we guarantee that our tutors in Santiago de Cuba will bring out the best in you. Lessons usually take place in the theatre where our partner company, Ballet Folklorico Cutumba, is based or in one of the numerous cultural centres in central Santiago de Cuba but may take place in another venue if these locations are not available for tuition. All lessons are taught by professional and experienced tutors. Minimum age is 18 years. Younger students may attend classes if accompanied by an adult.

NB Tailormade courses are not available during our group holidays which take place over Christmas/New Year and in July and sometimes at other times of the year too. If you would like to join in with the group classes, please refer to our group dance holiday itineraries.
