French in Chamonix
Chamonix is situated in the heart of the French Alps on the border of France, Switzerland and Italy. Surrounded by towering peaks and vast glaciers, the picturesque town is adjacent to the highest mountain in Europe, Mont Blanc, and provides world class ski slopes for skiers and snowboarders of all levels. The population of the town is just 10,000 and the atmosphere is friendly and lively with a large number of bars, cafes and restaurants.
Our school offers a dream combination of serious structure French classes and skiing or snowboarding the rest of the time. French tuition is under the management of the Stendhal University of Grenoble and classes are taught at all levels from beginner to advanced. Long and short term courses have 20 alternating morning and afternoon lessons per week.

Minimum age is 18 years
Courses: Chamonix offers the unique opportunity to combine language studies with skiing. Seasonal ski passes are available through the school.
Accommodation is available in studios or shared apartments all year round.
General and Semester-Long French courses
Group classes have an average of 15-20 students per class. Courses of private tuition are also available - please contact us for details.

All self-catering apartments are conveniently situated in Chamonix within walking distance of the school, centre of town and the ski lifts Brevent and Augi du Midi. The apartments are fully furnished and have a kitchen or kitchenette with utensils and a private bathroom.
