Learn German in Berlin, Germany

As one of the great cities of Europe and the largest in Germany, Berlin is a major metropolis and a lively place to study.  The fall of the Berlin Wall in November 1989 brought an end to its troubled past and many parts of the city have sprung back to life since.  Berlin is home to many beautiful parks and public gardens, famous museums and monuments, international standard galleries and exhibitions, numerous festivals and has a cosmopolitan atmosphere.  It is also renowned for its exciting and varied nightlife.

Our school is located in Schöneburg, one of Berlin's most beautiful and liveliest districts and is very well connected, only 5 minutes from the U-Bahn and city train stations and it is on several bus routes.  The school has 23 bright, well equipped classrooms, a computer room and a social area where snacks and drinks can be purchased.

Courses are available all year round for a variety of ages and levels.  Course fees include a placement test, course materials and certificate and social/cultural activities.

Client feedback

[Information provided and contact prior to departure]  Very good.  Response time to emails was quick and questions answered well.  Options were clearly laid out.  Pre-course transport links and brief overview of city were helfpul.  [location of school and facilities]  Good location: easy to find and on good transport network, in a safe but fairly cheap area, and lots to do in the locality.  [German lessons]  Lessons were well structured, the teachers clear and patient, and there was good teaching material.  [accommodation]  Excellent location, only 7 minutes' walk from the school, and with fab transport links to the rest of the city.  My room was spacious with a nice sized dexk and lamp for studying.  My host asked early what I was interested in and made a nice effort to find relevant events.  Wireless internet was available 24/7 which was invaluable for studying, planning my sightseeing, checking travel arrangements, and staying in touch with family. KP - General German course (July 2011)
