Learn Portuguese in Faro
The most southern city in Portugal, Faro is the coastal capital of the Algarve region which is the most popular tourist destination in the country, famous for good weather, impressive beaches, quaint fishing villages and delicious local fruit and seafood. The city itself has almost 42,000 inhabitants and is home to the University of the Algarve. Portuguese is the third most widely spoken European language in the world, after English and Spanish, and is an important language on all five continents.
Our school has 5 well equipped classrooms and is located on the first floor, near the market in Faro. There is computer access and Wi-Fi, a kitchen area for hot/cold drinks and also a patio/garden where students can socialise during class breaks.

Cultural activities and excursions are offered throughout the year, to encourage students to discover and explore the city and local area. Upon arrival, students will be provided with the monthly programme.
Accommodation is available in local homestays all year round.
Transfers: one way transfer to/from Faro International Airport costs £50 for one student or £60 for two students travelling together.
School Closure: 21 Feb, 6/25* Apr, 1 May, 7 Jun, 15 Aug, 7 Sep, 5 Oct, 1 Nov and 25 Dec 2012. The school will be closed on these public holidays and no classes will be held. Missed group classes will not be rescheduled. Individual lessons will either go ahead anyway or be rescheduled.
*All lessons will be held as usual on these dates, in order that students do not miss more than 1 day of group tuition over a 4-week period
General and Combination Portuguese Courses in Faro
A variety of Portuguese courses are available with group and individual lessons. For combination courses, students can choose the number of individual lessons which they wish to take per day.
