Málaga is currently one of the most popular destinations in Spain for studying Spanish. Located on the southern Mediterranean coast, it benefits from the famous Mediterranean climate and the cultural heritage of the many different influences. Malaga has a beautiful historic city centre with winding streets, hundreds of tapas bars, lively festivals and nightlife, and nearby beautiful beaches, making this a wonderful place to be based.
Our school in Malaga has its own minicampus including a swimming pool, sunny terraces, a restaurant and lively bar, multimedia learning centre and 20 modern classrooms. The school has a new student lounge, open 24hrs, with a TV, drinks and snack machines, computers and WIFI access.

Cultural activities and excursions are offered to help students discover the city and local culture e.g. Spanish cookery or dance classes, museum visits, city tours. Larger excursions may be offered with a small charge payable at the school.
Accommodation is available in the school’s 3* residence (with pool), homestays and shared apartments, all year round. Hotels and studio apartments available on request.
Transfers: a return transfer from Malaga Airport costs £75
Public holidays: the school will close on 6 Jan, 9/10 Apr, 1 May, 19 Aug, 8 Sept, 12 Oct, 2 Nov, 7/8 Dec 2009 and 19 Dec 2009 to 3 Jan 2010. There will be no classes on these days.

A variety of Spanish courses are available with group and private lessons. Courses of all levels, maximum group size = 10 students, 1 lesson = 50 minutes.

Spanish and cookery 
If you love Spanish food, this is the course for you! This course combines Spanish tuition with cookery demonstrations (students will learn how to prepare a 3-course menu and enjoy eating the food afterwards), visits to a local place of gastronomic interest, talks on local food/wine, cultural activities and a wonderful farewell meal with wine at the end of the second week.

This course is designed for mature learners aged 55+ and combines Spanish language tuition with visits to places of local interest and activities. Social and cultural activities are offered each day, Mon-Fri, and a full day excursion at the weekend is also included.

More Young at Heart course options
Teen summer sourse, 16-20 years
Designed for the older teenager, this programme offers an exciting combination of a holiday and a serious language course. The materials and activities have been adapted to take into account the interests of this age group, and the timetable is particularly suited to those who want to combine their studies with a good social life. Activities may include sport (beach football/volleyball, swimming, table-tennis, etc.), an introduction to salsa and/or sevillanas dance, tours of the historic centre, films, parties, and boat trips. One full-day excursion at the weekend is included in the price of each 2 week booking.

Arrivals should be on Sunday and departures on Saturday morning (1 week = 6 nights, 2 weeks = 13 nights, extra week = 7 nights etc.).
Homestay
This type of accommodation is perfect for those who want to be fully immersed in everyday Spanish life. Accommodation is half board.

Shared apartments
This type of accommodation is perfect for younger students (18-25 years) who wish to stay longer than two weeks. All apartments have a shared bathroom, living room and kitchen facilities. Type A apartments are of a slightly higher standard and located approximately 10 minutes on foot from the school. Type B apartments are located within 30 minutes on foot or by public transport from the school.
