Buenos Aires, the capital city, is easily one of the most cosmopolitan cities in South America and one of the largest. It dominates the cultural, economic and political life of Argentina and is a bustling and diverse city with impressive European style architecture, diverse barrios with distinctive identities such as as la Boca, and the bohemian district of San Telmo. Tango is an essential part of Argentine culture and dance schools and milonga evenings are plentiful.

We offer courses at two schools in Buenos Aires.

Buenos Aires - Spanish language school

Our Spanish language school is located in one of Buenos Aires' premiere neighborhoods, Recoleta, and is close to many restaurants, bars, and cafes. Our school is housed in a typical porteño style building and has 18 classrooms and common areas for students with free internet access, providing an ideal setting for Spanish immersion.

• Lesson duration: 50 minutes
• Classes held: Monday to Friday (mornings and/ or afternoons)
• Minimum age: 17 years
• Group size: 7 students maximum

Private tuition is ideal for people who need to learn Spanish quickly or who have a specific topic to study.

All levels may start on any Monday (beginners to advanced).

Public Holidays: The school will be closed on 1 Jan, 2 Apr, 25 May, 9 Jul, 25 Dec 2010. Classes missed through public holidays will not be rescheduled for other dates. The school will open on other public holidays 25 Mar, 1 Apr, 21 Jun, 16 Aug, 11 Oct, 8 Dec 2010,  and lessons will be substituted for group conversation sessions.

Tango Course

Accommodation

Rooms are available in local homestays and shared apartments, all year round. Arrival is on a Sunday and departure on a Saturday (1 week = 6 nights, 2 weeks = 13 nights etc). Standard accommodation is located up to 30 minutes away from the school and economic accommodation is located up to 60 minutes away from the school.

Buenos Aires - Spanish and tango school

Buenos Aires an ideal location for a Spanish and tango holiday. With sophisticated milongas to entice you into long nights of dancing and other excellent venues to practice what you have learned, you are sure to have the trip of a lifetime! Our Spanish and tango school is located in the Boedo district of Buenos Aires, well known for its connection to tango. It is close to many restaurants, bars, and cafes; it is very safe with limited noise and pollution.

Courses

You can choose to combine group or private Spanish lessons with group tango lessons. Extra private tango lessons are also available as a course supplement.
