For long haul destinations we can usually offer discounts on flights for children and if adults and children are happy to share rooms this helps to keep costs down too.
VIVA CUBA
Cubans love children and young people and it is without doubt one of the safest countries in the Spanish speaking world. Our trekking trips in the Sierra Maestra national park in the south of the island are strenuous enough to challenge fitter members of the group but are not so demanding that children or teenagers will be bored or exhausted. Our local bilingual guide will point out local wildlife and will accompany you to the mountain village of La Platica where you can stay overnight in a rustic refuge with traditional Cuban food prepared by our cook who lives in the community. A real family adventure! Or if you are musically inclined, how about family percussion and dance classes? Our tutors in Santiago de Cuba are experienced in teaching young people to grasp the basics of Cuban conga rhythms or salsa, whilst the adults can get to grips with other local specialities such as mojitos or Cuba libres… With or without Spanish language classes, we can arrange tailormade itineraries for as little as one week to round the island tours of 2-3 weeks.

GERMANY
A family German language course for 4 people can be organised in Radolfzell on Lake Constance. The focus of the course is how to deal with practical situations such as buying food, asking for directions and travelling. We offer 15 lessons per week in a closed group for the family, all course materials, lunch x 5 days, 1 double room + 2 single rooms in the self catering residence near the school and an activity programme including a visit to the Zeppelin museum in Friedrichshafen and a boat trip on Lake Constance.

ITALY
Our family run school in San Giovanni Valdarno is a perfect place for families to learn Italian together and to explore the Tuscan countryside and culture. Located roughly halfway between Siena and Florence on the main train line between the two cities, San Giovanni is a small town where you can experience an authentic Italian way of life. Language lessons can be combined with learning how to cook Italian traditional dishes such as fresh ravioli and risotto, or you can take guided cycle tours of the local area with food tastings along the way.
